# Community Guidelines

## Rule 1: Respect Everyone - Hate Speech, Discrimination & Harassment

At Apollo Networks, we prioritise respect, inclusivity, and kindness. Every player deserves to enjoy the community without being subjected to bullying, discrimination, harassment, or hate speech.

**1. Respect and Inclusivity**\
We welcome people of all backgrounds and expect all members to treat each other with dignity both in-character (IC) and out-of-character (OOC). You must not attack, demean, or promote hatred or violence against anyone based on:

* Age
* Colour or race
* Disability (mental or physical)
* Ethnicity
* Gender or gender identity
* National origin or immigration status
* Religious affiliation or beliefs
* Sex or sexual orientation
* Military service
* Socioeconomic class, status, or caste
* Weight, size, or body type

**2. Roleplay Boundaries**\
All actions and comments must remain within reasonable roleplay context and must not be used as a cover for personal attacks. This includes:

* Sexual harassment, bullying, excessive name-calling, or shaming
* Remarks about a character’s OOC persona or real life
* Using derogatory language or slurs towards a downed character or over a downed body, regardless of RP context

**3. Slurs and Hate Speech**\
The use of racial, sexual, or any other discriminatory slurs is strictly prohibited, both IC and OOC. This includes:

* Verbal, written, or visual attacks (slurs, insults, stereotypes)
* Jokes, memes, or roleplay intended to ridicule protected groups
* Threats, harassment, or incitement of violence based on protected characteristics
* Promoting extremist ideologies or conspiracy theories that encourage violence against others

## Rule 2: Respect and Conduct Toward the Staff Team

Our community holds itself to high standards of respect and professionalism. Staff abuse, slander, and disputes are not acceptable. If a staff member provides guidance or imposes a sanction, please refrain from arguing on the spot. If you believe a decision is unjust, we encourage you to submit a detailed staff ticket via our Discord. Escalating disagreements with staff only complicates matters. Please value and respect our staff's dedication and time. Impersonation of a staff member is strictly prohibited. If you ever have concerns regarding staff conduct, please report it via an Admin or Management ticket.

## Rule 3: Cheating / Executing / Hacking / Exploiting

Utilising third-party programs to gain undue advantages is absolutely forbidden. This includes cheating (hacking), exploiting undiscovered glitches, duplicating weapons/items, use of macros, or misusing commands to identify players.

Additionally, mod packs that remove bushes or props, or mod packs that enhance the sound of footsteps are prohibited.

Further to the above, being aware of a potential exploit or glitch—such as duplicating weapons or items—and failing to report it is also considered a breach of this rule.

{% hint style="danger" %}
Offenders caught cheating, executing or hacking will receive a **permanent, non-appealable ban**.
{% endhint %}

## Rule 4: Mature Themes

Anything involving **sexual harassment, sexual assault, explicit sexual acts or comments, self-harm, or other triggering themes** is strictly prohibited.

If you’re ever unsure whether a theme is appropriate, **err on the side of caution**. Always be considerate of others and ensure the experience remains **safe, inclusive, and enjoyable** for everyone.

## Rule 5: Reporting Rule Breaks

**For in-game grievances against a player**, please use the `/report` feature or DM our [Discord support bot (ticket system)](https://discord.com/channels/953180997959168031/1010432824605671544). Be specific and descriptive in your reports — vague requests such as "admin to me" or "fix my car" will not receive a response. If you are unable to use `/report`, you may submit a Player Report via our [Discord support bot (ticket system)](https://discord.com/channels/953180997959168031/1010432824605671544).

**Failure to use these official channels** — including directly messaging staff or taking matters into your own hands — will be considered a breach of this rule. **Additionally, knowingly failing to report serious rule violations** (e.g., exploiting, cheating, or other malicious behavior) will also be considered a breach of this rule.

**Witch-Hunting and Vigilantism:** Any attempts to enforce the server rules yourself or to harass rule breakers will result in punishment under Rule 1 and Rule 5. Members are expected to report any rule-breaking behaviour through the proper channels and allow the staff team to handle the matter appropriately.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**knowingly failing to report serious rule violations** (e.g., exploiting, cheating, or other malicious behavior) will also be considered a breach of this rule.
{% endhint %}

## Rule 6: Age Restrictions

Every role-played character within Apollo Networks must be 18+.

This also extends to **portraying** anyone under the age of 18 through:

* **Voice**: Using childlike voices, tones, or speech patterns.
* **Sayings**: Using language, references, or behavior that would clearly indicate a character is a minor.
* **Appearance**: Designing a character’s look, clothing, or animations to resemble someone under the age of 18.

## Rule 7: Driving

* **Off-Road Driving**: Not all vehicles are designed for off-road experiences. If you take a vehicle off the road that isn't designed for such terrains, expect staff intervention. Navigate tunnels or off-road terrains with caution—drive slowly, take turns gently, and authentically roleplay any potential injuries.
* **Specialty Vehicles**: Drag, sprint, and drift vehicles are subject to additional scrutiny. Ensure these vehicles remain on their designated roads. For instance, sprint vehicles should not be driven off-road or on beaches.
* **Carrying Passengers**: If transporting another player in a vehicle, you may have one person inside (excluding the driver) and one in the trunk/boot. To use the trunk/boot feature, engage your "third eye" by pressing the left alt button.
* **Bikes**: It's prohibited to carry someone on a bike. There's no valid roleplay justification for this action.
* **Simultaneous Carrying and Driving**: You're not permitted to both drive and carry someone inside the vehicle.

## Rule 8: Microphone

To ensure high-quality roleplay and seamless communication, all players must use a functional and clear microphone to participate. Your microphone must not produce excessive background noise, static, or inaudible echoing. Obscene or disruptive background sounds, such as yelling, music, or loud environmental noise, are strictly prohibited.

Playing without a microphone is not allowed. This includes using text chat or typing to communicate in situations where voice communication is expected. Proper verbal communication is essential to maintaining immersive roleplay.

If you have a **legitimate medical reason, disability, or condition** that prohibits or significantly impacts your ability to use voice communication, you must **open a ticket** and receive **administrator approval** to be exempt from the microphone requirement. Failure to obtain prior approval will be considered a breach of server rules.

## Rule 9: Safe Zones

Designated areas across the map serve as safe zones, ensuring a violence-free environment. Engaging in hostile actions, such as shooting or ramming, is strictly prohibited within these zones. Moreover, it's against the rules to initiate hostile roleplay and then seek refuge in a safe zone. It's also forbidden to transport a player out of a safe zone to start hostile interactions.

Additionally, all officially recognised businesses within the server are considered safe zones. Any form of hostile roleplay within these premises is strictly off-limits.

## Rule 10: Breaking Character

While in the city, speaking out of character (OOC) is strictly prohibited unless a staff member explicitly states that the conversation is OOC. If you are speaking with staff and they have not clearly stated that it is an OOC conversation, you must remain in character.

{% hint style="warning" %}
If you witness or are involved in a rule break, **you are still not permitted to break character.**
{% endhint %}

## Rule 11: Metagaming

Metagaming is a serious breach of our community guidelines. Engaging in metagaming can result in significant penalties, often more severe than those issued for other rule infringements. Regardless of your history or standing within the community, it is never worth the risk.

Metagaming is defined as using information that your character has not organically acquired through roleplay in-city. This includes obtaining information from external broadcasts or streams, using platforms such as Discord instead of in-city communication methods, or receiving information from other players outside of character interactions.

Discord servers that have been *formally approved* by Apollo Networks Administration for roleplay purposes are exempt from this restriction. Apollo Networks Administration must hold administrator permissions within these servers and must be able to view all channels for moderation and monitoring purposes. It is your responsibility to confirm that a Discord server has been officially approved. You can verify its approval by opening a support ticket. Information obtained through an unapproved Discord server will be treated as metagaming.

Players who roleplay multiple characters must also keep all information completely separate. Information cannot be transferred between your characters in any way, including through other players or intermediaries.

{% hint style="danger" %}
Anyone caught stream sniping (using information obtained from another person’s stream) or using any form of metagamed information to assist themselves or others during conflict or hostile roleplay will receive an **immediate ban of at least 90 days**.
{% endhint %}

## Rule 12: Powergaming

Powergaming, a significant breach of our server rules, refers to the misuse of game mechanics or unrealistic roleplay to gain an advantage. This includes any action that your character would not realistically be able to do in the real world.

#### Examples of Powergaming

* **Overhearing Conversations**: If you hear conversations through walls or inside vehicles, you must disregard this information. Your character wouldn’t naturally be able to hear it.
* **Camera Misuse**: Using third-person cameras to see areas outside your character’s natural perspective for an advantage.
* **Game Menu Exploits**: Using job menus while off-duty, or cancelling animations/emotes for personal gain.
* **Shift Punching**: Using sprint + melee to gain an unrealistic fighting advantage.
* **PVP Enhancements**: Modifying your FiveM folder to boost visibility, add bullet tracers, or otherwise gain combat advantages.
* **Reviving Abuse**: Shooting someone and then forcing a medic to revive them, or taking someone to a hospital, forcing them to check in, and then robbing/kidnapping them.
* **Binding Automated Actions**: Using binds for actions like “/do steals phone, radio, and duct tapes mouth.” All such roleplay actions must be typed out manually.
* **Safe Zone Misconduct**: Baiting or provoking others in a Safe Zone.
* **Using Mechanics to Manipulate the Game in an Unfair Way**: Using game systems in a way that unrealistically generates opportunities your character couldn’t reasonably access. For example:
  * Spawning or placing furniture/objects solely to manipulate NPC spawns (e.g., filling a house with couches to farm NPCs for drug sales).
  * Any method of “farming” mechanics to gain items, services, or outcomes that your character could not realistically achieve.
* **Misuse of Vehicle Garages:** Using garages or vehicle storage mechanics unrealistically to avoid active situations. For example, storing a vehicle in a garage while being pursued by police or another person in order to hide, protect the vehicle, or secure items inside it (e.g., weapons).

Always roleplay with realism in mind. If you’re uncertain whether an action might be powergaming, assume that it is and refrain from doing it.

## Rule 13: Fear RP/Valuing Your Life

Value your character's life as you would your own. While portraying bravery is commendable, it should not venture into the realm of the unrealistic. Here are some guidelines to ensure you're giving due regard to your character's life:

* **Real-world precautions apply**: Just as you'd check both directions before crossing a street in reality, your character should do the same in-game.
* **Guns dictate caution**: If someone draws a gun on you and you don’t have a weapon out, it's prudent to surrender. Similarly, if you're in a stationary vehicle and threatened with a firearm, you should heed the aggressor's commands. However, if your vehicle is already running, you may drive away, but deliberately running over the aggressor is not allowed and will be considered a breach of the VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch) rule.
* **Avoid recklessness**: Avoid reckless or unrealistic behaviour during roleplay. This includes staying clear of active shootouts unless you have valid roleplay involvement, intentionally crashing your vehicle, jumping from cliffs, or “water dumping” vehicles while you are inside them. Claiming to be a “daredevil” or using similar reasoning does not justify behaviour that is unrealistic, disruptive, or done to avoid consequences.
* **Exceptions**: Certain organisations, under specific scenarios, may have some leeway. For example, they might be allowed to escape to protect their assets. This is at the discretion of the staff.
* **Valuing life in confrontations**:
  * Do not bait or force interactions with Organisations or the Police.
  * During robberies or when held at gunpoint, prioritise safety by being compliant. If asked to unlock your vehicle under such circumstances, you must oblige.

In essence, always approach situations with a balance of in-character bravery and genuine concern for your character's well-being.

## Rule 14: New Life Rule

The "New Life Rule" is activated once your character has faced a fatal event and hasn't been revived by either an on-duty member from Melbourne Ambulance Services (MAS) or Fire Rescue Services (FRS). Here's how it works:

* **Memory Post-Revival**: You only recall the events leading up to your demise if you're brought back by one of the aforementioned services. If friends move your body to a hospital, this doesn't restore your memory. Roleplay as if waking up in a hospital, unaware of how you got there.
* **Witness Accounts**: If someone witnessed your untimely end and informs you afterward, that information is permissible.
* **Communicating Post-Injury**: Upon reaching the death screen, you can't provide a recount of the events or identities involved. You're limited to roleplaying your injuries without disclosing names or specifics. For instance, if you're in a shootout, you can alert allies of your location, but if you're incapacitated before identifying the assailant, you can't reveal who shot you upon their arrival.
* **Extended Absence of Emergency Services**: If 20 minutes elapse post-demise without any emergency service member attending to you, you cannot recall the events leading up to your death, even if you're subsequently attended to.

This rule ensures the continuity and immersion of roleplay experiences, and we appreciate your adherence.

## Rule 15: Criminal Crews/Organizations

* **Crews**: Limited to a maximum of 7 members. All crews must be officially registered on the Apollo Criminal Discord.
* **Criminal Organizations**: These are whitelisted groups with a cap of 30 members. Their establishment requires staff approval, and the leaders of these organizations must hold whitelist status within the server.
* **Applications**: If you're looking to establish a criminal organization, applications can be made via our discord server [here](https://discord.com/channels/953180997959168031/1033234408536293428).

## Rule 16: Roleplaying Injuries

In Apollo, realism is paramount:

* **Injury Roleplay**: Your character's injuries in the server should be as authentic as real-life injuries. If you're shot in the chest, for instance, it's expected your character would experience laboured breathing and significant distress.
* **Communication**: When injured, it's essential to communicate the nature and severity of those injuries. Using /me to inform paramedics is a fundamental step in this process.
* **Post-Injury Roleplay**: After receiving medical attention, continue to roleplay your injuries until you're officially treated at the nearest hospital. This means that you can't simulate having a severe injury, get revived, and then immediately flee or ignore medical directives.
* **Vehicle Injuries**: In the case of vehicular accidents, especially at high speeds, roleplay the aftermath appropriately. If involved in a high-speed crash, pause to roleplay the shock and possible injuries before proceeding. Crashing at high speeds and immediately continuing as if nothing happened is not permitted. The nature and duration of injury roleplay depend on the severity of the incident.
* You must not respawn if you are in an active role-play situation.

Always prioritise realism and empathy for your character's situation.

## Rule 17: Hostile Roleplay Restrictions

For balanced interactions in Apollo, adhere to the following guidelines regarding police numbers and engagement:

* **Police Numbers & Hostile Actions**: If police presence is marked as "VERY LOW", limit intense confrontations. Minor conflicts involving 1-4 participants are typically acceptable, but final decisions rest with staff discretion.
* **Hostile Number Limitation:** If you are not participating in conflict or hostile roleplay as part of a crew/gang/org than you must adhere to a limit of **4** participants.
* **Player Robberies**: You may only rob other players if the scoreboard indicates a "LOW" police presence.
* **Store & Bank Heists**: Engage in store or bank robberies only when the police status is "LOW".
* **Emergency Service Worker Immunity**: You may not rob items from emergency services personnel, including Ambulance, Fire and Police. The only exception is that whitelisted individuals may rob Police for seized illegal items or weapons, regardless of who they were seized from, provided those items have not yet been logged into evidence. Once items are in evidence they cannot be withdrawn by anyone, and attempting to force an officer to retrieve them is not permitted. All other items (including an officer's own equipment, service weapon and personal belongings) remain off-limits at all times. This exception is still subject to the robbing requirements under [Rule 22](#rule-22-robbing-and-scamming) — meaningful roleplay must precede it, and police presence must be low or higher.
* **Safe Zones**: All officially whitelisted businesses are considered safe zones.\
  Hostile roleplay is not permitted in these locations, even if the game does not automatically block weapons or display a safe-zone notification.
* **Taking Police, Ambulance or Fire Personnel (EMS) Hostage**: To take a any Police or EMS personnel hostage, for instance, to facilitate an escape, there must be a "LOW" police presence on duty. Remember, creativity in scenarios is encouraged.
* **Kidnapping Duration & Release Locations:**
  * You may not hold a player against their will for longer than **30 minutes**, measured from the point they are first compelled to comply- whether by restraint, force, or threat (e.g., being held at gunpoint or ordered to come with you).<br>
  * At the end of the scene, the victim must be released somewhere they can realistically continue roleplay. They must not be left restrained (handcuffed, zip-tied, etc.,) without a nearby means of being freed, and must not be left at **Roxwood, Mount Chiliad, or any island** (these locations offer no easy access and no realistic opportunity to reach another player, which ends their roleplay entirely.)<br>
  * If you wish to exceed 30 minutes or release a victim in a prohibited location, you must obtain approval from the **Administration Team** before the scene takes place.

{% hint style="info" %}
To check the police presence, use your `HOME` key, or the `/scoreboard` command to view the scoreboard.
{% endhint %}

## Rule 18: Random Death Match (RDM)

Engaging in violent actions without prior verbal roleplay is prohibited in the server. Before resorting to lethal measures, players are encouraged to explore other creative interactions like kidnapping, intimidation, or verbal threats. **Use killing as a last resort**. If staff determines that you've bypassed alternative roleplay scenarios and prematurely harmed another player, you may face consequences under the RDM rule. Killing a compliant individual during a robbery or attacking with the sole intent of erasing their memory is a clear violation. This rule will be stringently upheld.

## Rule 19: Vehicle Death Match (VDM)

Using your vehicle to intentionally harm or kill another player is strictly forbidden. While vehicles should not be weaponized in roleplay scenarios, performing a "pit" manoeuvre at low speeds is permissible. However, when considering a pit manoeuvre, ensure that it adheres to the realistic driving guidelines, especially regarding speed.

## Rule 20: 'Must Win Attitude'

An attitude driven solely by the desire to win is unacceptable. Remember, this is roleplay, and it's natural to experience both victories and defeats.

## Rule 21: Real Money Trade (RMT)

Trading, buying, selling, or gifting in-game items, weapons, vehicles, or currency in exchange for real-world money or any other form of currency, item or service is strictly prohibited.

## Rule 22: Robbing & Scamming

* **Robbing:** Robbing other players in the city is permissible when police presence is low or higher, but only after meaningful interaction or engagement between the involved parties. Meaningful roleplay (RP) entails creating a narrative with depth, context, and character development. This includes, but is not limited to, building backstories and establishing motives. General hostilities with another group of individuals do not justify repeated robberies of those individuals.
* **Scamming:** Scamming is permissible. Players are encouraged to make use of the safe trading avenues within Apollo, as failure to do so may result in no reimbursement/staff intervention.
* **Impersonating a Whitelisted Business or Middleman:** You cannot impersonate a whitelisted business, act on their behalf, or present yourself as a middleman for a whitelisted business to facilitate trades.

Players primarily focused on robbing/scamming for personal or financial gain, or those who habitually commit robberies/scams, will face staff action under this rule. Final decisions rest with the Administration team.&#x20;

{% hint style="info" %}
Police, Ambulance, Fire, Corrections and Courts personnel equipment is strictly off-limits for robbing. The only exception is set out under [Rule 17 (Hostile Roleplay Restrictions)](#rule-17-hostile-roleplay-restrictions), covering seized illegal items and weapons not yet logged into evidence.
{% endhint %}

## Rule 23: Premade Ped's & Animal Ped's

Using premade GTA PEDs (NPCs/Locals), including animals, without approval from the Administration team is prohibited.

{% hint style="info" %}
If you wish to roleplay as an NPC/local PED, please send a direct message to our Discord support bot so your request can be assessed.
{% endhint %}

## Rule 24: Combat Logging

Players are prohibited from disconnecting or forcefully exiting the game to avoid any roleplay scenario, including but not limited to combat, police chases, and other conflict situations. This rule applies at all times, regardless of the in-game status or real-life circumstances.

If you need to leave the game, ensure you are not in an active roleplay situation before doing so. After initiating or engaging in any hostile or illegal interactions (such as shootouts, robberies, or police pursuits), you must remain in the server for at least **30 minutes** from the time you began the scenario. For example, if you evade police after committing a crime and manage to hide to lose them, you still cannot disconnect until the 30-minute period has elapsed.

## Rule 25: Advertising

Members are not permitted to advertise or promote other FiveM servers, services, or communities on our platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, posting links, sharing direct messages with other members, or making indirect references (e.g., using phrases or innuendo to promote or reference other servers). Any form of promotion, no matter how subtle or indirect, is strictly prohibited.

Additionally, if you have a hoisted role in the Discord server and your activity status displays another server or group, your role may be removed.

## Rule 26: External Discords & Forums

Any Discord server or similar forum that has been created for the purposes of roleplay within Apollo Networks (i.e., business and org discords) must have an Apollo Networks staff member in the server with access to all channels for the purposes of ensuring that our community guidelines are being followed.

## Rule 27: Discord Name Formats

You are not required to change your Discord username to match your character name in the Apollo Networks Discord server. However, if you participate in a Discord server specifically for roleplay interactions and announcements (such as EMS or Business Discords), you must set your Discord nickname to your character name.

## Rule 28: Prohibited Content – Intellectual Property

You must **not upload, send, share, or display any content that breaches the** [**FiveM Terms of Service**](https://runtime.fivem.net/platform-license-agreement-12-sept-2023.pdf). This includes any use of **copyrighted or trademarked material** (e.g., real-world brands, TV shows, movies, logos, celebrity names or likenesses) in **any form or platform within the server**, such as:

* Phone apps like **SMS, Birdy, Instapic, or Photos**
* **Phone contact images**, profile photos, or uploaded media
* **Contact profile images** or any media embedded in contacts
* **Advertisements** (yellow pages, classifieds, etc.)
* **/me commands** or any in-character actions referencing copyrighted content

These types of content violate FiveM’s Terms of Service. Anyone found uploading or distributing such material may face content removal, warnings, or **permanent bans**.

## Rule 29: Prohibited Content – Real-World Criminal Organisations, Gangs, Militias, Extremist & Hate Groups

Any depiction, reference, roleplay, glorification, or support of **real-world** criminal organisations, gangs, militias, extremist organisations, terrorist groups, or hate groups/ideologies is strictly prohibited in all forms.

This includes, but is not limited to:

* Using real-world names, aliases, slang, symbols, flags, logos, colours, numbers, or other identifiers
* Roleplaying as, or in any way portraying yourself as, a member, associate, or supporter of such groups
* Glorifying, endorsing, romanticising, or attempting to legitimise their actions, beliefs, or history through roleplay, dialogue, clothing, tattoos, liveries, props, or events
* Creating, distributing, or displaying in-game assets or media (including streams, videos, or images) containing references to these groups
* Using slogans, chants, gestures, music, graffiti, or coded language associated with these groups
* Promoting extremist ideologies or conspiracy theories that encourage, incite, or justify violence against others
* Depicting, promoting, or supporting violent extremism, terrorism, or the perpetrators of such acts

{% hint style="danger" %}
Offenders will receive a **permanent, non-appealable ban**.
{% endhint %}

## Rule 30: Trolling, Lack of RP Intent or Disruptive Behaviour

We expect all players to join with the genuine intention to engage in immersive and meaningful roleplay. The following behaviours are strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action, including possible removal from the server:

* **Trolling:** Any behaviour intended to provoke, annoy, or interfere with others. This includes but is not limited to:
  * Running up to people and making silly or outrageous comments to start fights
  * Purposefully trying to ruin serious roleplay scenes
  * Using emotes, animations, or props to annoy or disrupt others
  * Playing music or loud noises through your microphone
  * Following or harassing other players without RP justification
  * Spamming interactions or actions repeatedly to irritate others
  * **Creating intentionally ridiculous or unrealistic character appearances (e.g. exaggerated or troll-like facial features) designed to mock or disrupt the roleplay environment**
* **Lack of Roleplay Intent:** Joining the server with no real aim to roleplay. This includes but is not limited to:
  * Constantly trying to provoke others into combat
  * Ignoring attempts at roleplay or responding with OOC-style behaviour while in character
* **Disruptive Behaviour:** Anything that ruins the roleplay experience for others. This includes but is not limited to:
  * Interrupting or crashing RP scenes you're not involved in
  * Repeatedly yelling or speaking over others in voice chat
  * Exploiting animations or mechanics to be annoying or unrealistic

## Rule 31: Fail RP

Fail RP occurs when a player acts in a way that breaks immersion, ignores realism, or disregards the expectations of serious roleplay. Players are required to [remain in-character](#rule-10-breaking-character) at all times and behave in ways that reflect how a reasonable person would act in the given situation.

Examples of FailRP include (but are not limited to):

* **Unrealistic Behaviour**: Performing actions that are impossible or nonsensical within the GTA V environment.
* **Unrealistic Police/Emergency Interactions**:
  * Ignoring lawful orders without reason, refusing to roleplay detainment, or failing to comply with emergency services roleplay.
  * Bringing downed individuals to police with the intention of facilitating their arrest or confiscation of items, otherwise known as "cop-dropping".
* **Unrealistic Vehicle Use**:
  * Carrying another player while driving a car.
  * Carrying another player on a motorcycle.
  * Using vehicles unrealistically (e.g., ramming cars full-speed without roleplaying damage, or constantly crashing with no consequence).

## Rule 32: Baiting

Intentionally provoking or antagonizing **police** or **criminal organisations** for the sole purpose of initiating an interaction, chase, or shootout without meaningful roleplay context is prohibited.

This includes actions such as:

* Purposely driving recklessly around police or gang members to trigger a chase.
* Verbally taunting or harassing individuals or groups with no roleplay justification.
* Creating artificial scenarios that serve only to force conflict without story or character development.

Roleplay should develop **organically and realistically** — baiting for the sake of “something to do” is not acceptable.

# How to Fix Texture Loss

If you're experiencing texture loss or pop-in issues while on our server, here's a step-by-step guide to help you alleviate these problems:

### Causes of Texture Loss

Some common reasons why you may experience texture loss include:

* Corrupted cache data
* Graphic modifications conflicting
* Problems caused by FiveM updates
* Game settings
* Network connection

### Extended Texture Budget

Setting your 'Extended Texture Budget' to approximately 75% full may help with texture loss.

* Launch FiveM
* Press `ESC`
* Navigate to `Settings`
* Click on `Graphics`
* Increase the texture bar as high as it can go without going into the orange or red, it should ideally remain as high as possible but still in the green

{% hint style="danger" %}
Setting your extended texture budget higher than the green zone or to 100% can cause issues.
{% endhint %}

### Fixing Textures In Game

While in game, you may use the `/fixtextures` command which may aid in fixing your game textures temporarily.

### Hardware Check

Ensure that your PC meets or exceeds GTA V's and FiveM's recommended requirements

### Game Settings

Lower graphic settings, especially those related to texture quality and distance scaling. Also consider reducing the population density and variety sliders in settings.

### Clear FiveM Cache

Sometimes, [clearing the cache](/technical-guides/how-to-clear-fivem-cache) can help with texture issues.

# How to Set FiveM to Start With Pure Mode Enabled

Apollo Networks requires your FiveM client to have pure mode enabled. This can be frustrating as every time you connect to Apollo Networks your FiveM client needs to close and restart to enable 'pure mode'. This guide will show you how to set your FiveM client to start in pure mode when you launch the application, reducing the need for FiveM to restart itself before connecting to our server which ultimately saves you time.

***

1. Find the FiveM application icon and right click on it\
   ![](https://2249972012-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FDuu9caqixEzc0JKQPIXX%2Fuploads%2FucMQWB8Z3W7gHcvLdhJL%2Fimage.png?alt=media\&token=65a2e1d9-5853-4ad4-8a86-48080e38fc8e)<br>
2. Click **Properties**\
   ![](https://2249972012-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FDuu9caqixEzc0JKQPIXX%2Fuploads%2FIX30UDbv2QwbMMVhZF3X%2Fimage.png?alt=media\&token=34f7e3cb-01b6-426b-9811-7bf4798c270d)<br>
3. Click on the **Target** text field\
   ![](https://2249972012-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FDuu9caqixEzc0JKQPIXX%2Fuploads%2FfH95AF8n5wXzGA6OOsxa%2Fimage%20\(1\).png?alt=media\&token=ed9ec9cc-0abf-4642-8f07-efd352aae543)<br>
4. After \FiveM.exe enter a space then type **`-pure_1`**\
   ![](https://2249972012-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FDuu9caqixEzc0JKQPIXX%2Fuploads%2FRw7jHi8GnPeBbzQUyzX6%2Fimage.png?alt=media\&token=25e989af-bbd0-4085-8c21-f97ee2d4ef48)\
   Here is an example of what the Target field might look like: `C:\Users\Lewis\AppData\Local\FiveM\FiveM.exe -pure_1`<br>
5. Click **Apply** and **Ok**

**Last Updated:** 13 August 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Apollo Networks Support Bot (referred to as "the Bot", "we", or "us"). The Bot is an instance of the open-source [modmail-dev/modmail](https://github.com/modmail-dev/modmail) project, operated on behalf of the Apollo Networks Discord server. The Bot instance is hosted by the Modmail development team, and its database is hosted on MongoDB Atlas.

By interacting with the Bot, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Bot. These Terms are designed to comply with the [Discord Developer Terms of Service](https://support-dev.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/8562894815383-Discord-Developer-Terms-of-Service) and [Developer Policy](https://support-dev.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/8563934450327-Discord-Developer-Policy).

***

### 1. Description of Service

The Bot functions as a shared inbox between Apollo Networks community members and the staff team. It allows users to send direct messages to the Bot, which are relayed to staff as private threads. 4. **Not attempt to exploit the Bot:** Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, manipulate, or exploit the Bot's functionality, including its commands, APIs, or data storage.

### 4. Message Content and Conduct

All messages sent to the Bot are relayed to Apollo Networks staff and are logged for record-keeping purposes. You are solely responsible for the content of your messages. Messages that violate Discord's Terms of Service, contain illegal content, or are deemed abusive, threatening, or harassing may result in action being taken by the staff team, up to and including being blocked from the Bot, removed from the Discord server, and/or banned from Apollo Networks services.

### 5. Data Collection and Privacy

Your use of the Bot is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how we store it, and your rights regarding that data. By using the Bot, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

# Privacy Policy - Apollo Networks Support Bot

**Last Updated:** 13 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Apollo Networks Support Bot (referred to as "the Bot", "we", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects your data. The Bot is an instance of the open-source [modmail-dev/modmail](https://github.com/modmail-dev/modmail) project, operated on behalf of the Apollo Networks Discord server. The Bot instance itself is hosted by the Modmail development team, and its database is hosted on MongoDB Atlas.

By interacting with the Bot, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. This policy is designed to comply with the [Discord Developer Terms of Service](https://support-dev.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/8562894815383-Discord-Developer-Terms-of-Service) and [Developer Policy](https://support-dev.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/8563934450327-Discord-Developer-Policy).

***

### 1. Data We Collect

When you send a direct message to the Bot to open a support thread, or interact with an active thread, the following information is collected and stored:

1. **User Data:** Your Discord User ID, username, and avatar.
2. **Message Content:** The text content, links to attachments, and timestamps of any messages sent to or from the Bot. This includes staff replies and any internal staff notes attached to your thread.
3. **Server Data:** Relevant Guild (Server) IDs and Channel IDs required to route your messages to the correct staff team.
4. **Action Logs:** Metadata related to the thread, such as when it was opened, closed, or transferred, and which staff members handled it.

> **Please note:** all message content sent through the Bot is recorded and saved. Do not send sensitive personal information (such as passwords, payment details, or government identifiers) through the Bot. Apollo Networks staff will never ask for your password or payment information via the Bot.

***

### 2. How We Store Your Data

The Bot does not permanently store data on Discord's infrastructure once a thread is archived ("closed"). Instead, all collected data — including message logs and user identifiers — is exported and stored off-platform in a MongoDB database hosted on **MongoDB Atlas**.

The Bot instance is hosted and maintained by the **Modmail development team**, while the database and its contents are administered by the Apollo Networks management team. Reasonable security measures are implemented within the hosting and database environments to protect your logs from unauthorised access, including restricting access to authorised personnel only.

***

### 3. How We Use Your Data

The data we collect is used strictly to provide and maintain the functionality of the Bot and our support services. Specifically:

1. **Facilitating Communication:** Relaying messages between you and the Apollo Networks staff team.
2. **Record Keeping:** Maintaining an accurate history of support requests, reports, and appeals so that staff have consistent context across interactions (including ban appeals and enforcement history).
3. **Community Safety & Integrity:** Investigating rule violations, disputes, and abuse of the Bot or our support systems.
4. **Service Improvement:** Allowing server administrators to review past interactions to improve community guidelines, staff conduct, and support quality.

We do not use your support messages for advertising, and we do not sell, monetize, or trade your personal information.

***

### 4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Access to your data is highly restricted. It is only accessible to:

1. **Authorised Server Staff:** Moderators and administrators of Apollo Networks who have the necessary permissions to view support threads and logs. Staff access is revoked when a member leaves the team.
2. **The Database Administrator(s):** The Apollo Networks management member(s) responsible for administering the database.
   * Database Administrator(s): thunderwolfxs (owner of Apollo Networks)
3. **The Modmail Hosting Team:** As the Bot instance is hosted by the Modmail development team, select members of that team may be able to access data through the underlying infrastructure and the Bot's database connection, for the purpose of keeping the Bot online and maintained.
4. **MongoDB Atlas Employees:** Select employees of the MongoDB Atlas team may have the ability to access the data. Their usage is restricted and governed by their [privacy policy](https://www.mongodb.com/legal/privacy/privacy-policy).

We will not share your data with any other third parties — including other Discord servers, community ban lists, or global moderation databases — unless explicitly required to do so by law or to comply with Discord Trust & Safety requests.

***

### 5. Data Retention

Chat logs and associated user identifiers are retained indefinitely within our database, to ensure staff have a consistent historical record of all moderation and support interactions, including for the purposes of ban appeals and enforcement history.

***

### 6. Your Rights and Data Deletion

Under the Discord Developer Policies — and, where applicable, Australian privacy law (*Privacy Act 1988* (Cth)) — you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. If you wish to have your support logs and associated identifying information permanently removed from our off-platform database, you may exercise this right by:

1. Sending a message directly to the Bot requesting data deletion; or
2. Contacting the server administrators or the contact person(s) listed below.

Upon receiving a verifiable request, we will purge your identifying information and message content from our database within 14 days.

Records that are the subject of an active investigation, unresolved dispute, or a legal obligation to retain may be preserved until that matter is resolved, after which the deletion request will be actioned.

***

### 7. Contact Information

If you have any questions, concerns, or data deletion requests regarding this Privacy Policy or the Bot's operation, please contact:

1. **The Bot directly**, by opening a support thread; or
2. **Discord User(s):** thunderwolfxs; or
3. **Email:** <apollonetworksfivem@gmail.com>

# Whitelisting

## Whitelisting at Apollo Networks

### The short version

Whitelist is **earned, not applied for**. It is recognition given to players who consistently bring exceptional roleplay to Apollo and genuinely contribute to the community. There is no application form, no expression of interest, and no waiting list. Whitelisted players are recommended by others, reviewed and voted on by the team, background checked, and only then invited to submit a written application.

***

### What does "whitelisted" mean at Apollo?

Whitelist is a status, not a rank or a purchase. It marks a player the community and the team trust to raise the standard of roleplay in the city — someone whose scenes other players remember, who stays in character when it would be easier not to, and who leaves the server better than they found it.

It is not a reward for time served. A player with three years on the server may never be whitelisted, and a player with a few months might be. What matters is the quality of what you bring, not the quantity of hours behind you.

**What whitelisted members receive:**

> **General Perks:**
>
> * Access to the whitelist store
>
> * Ability to whitelist rob other people
>
> * Hold an additional whitelisted job
>
> * Ability to purchase a player-owned store
>
> * Access to whitelist auctions
>
> * Use of /ad
>
> * Own/apply for whitelisted businesses
>
> * Insta/Birdy verification ticks
>
> * Personal trading card of your character (announcements are posted each season on how to do this).
>
> **Housing Perks (Through Elite Estates):**
>
> * 15% off housing purchase prices
>
> * A free interior change for your new property
>
> * Free choice of private garage on your property (Boat, Air, Car) valued at $500,000
>
> * Install locks to your gates (if pre-existing) and be able to purchase key cards.
>
> **Police Perks:**
>
> * No prior job experience needed to apply
> * Golden Revolver
> * Tinted beanbag
> * Skateboard on shift (POPs sub required)

***

### How does someone become whitelisted?

There are four stages. A player does not enter this process by asking — they enter it because someone else put their name forward.

#### 1. Recommendation

Someone who has roleplayed with you puts your name forward. Recommendations typically come from staff and existing whitelisted members. This is the only entry point to the process.

#### 2. Vote

Your name goes to a whitelist panel, who vote. This is a genuine deliberation, not a rubber stamp. Members who have roleplayed with you will speak to what they have seen.

#### 3. Background check

We review your full history with Apollo — your record, any warnings or bans, your conduct in Discord and in-game, and how you have handled yourself when things have gone badly in a scene. Past issues do not automatically disqualify you, but unresolved patterns will.

#### 4. Written application

If you pass the previous three stages, you will be invited to submit a written application. This is the final step — being invited is not a guarantee of the outcome. It is your opportunity to show how you think about roleplay, your character, and your place in the community in your own words.

***

### What are we actually looking for?

* **Roleplay quality.** Consistent, considered characters. Scenes with stakes and consequence. A willingness to lose, to be arrested, to be hurt, and to let the story go somewhere uncomfortable rather than reaching for the outcome that suits you.
* **Consistency.** Not one memorable night, but a pattern of it.
* **Community contribution.** How you treat other players, especially newer ones and those in scenes that aren't going your way.
* **Conduct out of character.** How you handle disagreement in Discord, in reports, and with staff.
* **Trust.** Whether the team is confident you will hold the line on server standards when nobody is watching.

***

### Common questions

**Can I apply for whitelist?** No. There is no application form, no EOI, and no queue. The written application only exists at the end of the process, and only by invitation.

**Can I ask a staff member to whitelist me, or ask someone to recommend me?** Please don't. Asking will not move you forward, and repeatedly asking staff or other players for a recommendation works against you — it suggests the status matters more to you than the roleplay does.

**How long does it take?** There is no timeframe. Some players are recommended within months, others after years, many never are. Playing longer does not move you up a list, because there is no list.

**How do I know if I'm being considered?** You generally won't until you are invited to submit the written application. The earlier stages happen privately, and this is deliberate — it keeps the process about your roleplay rather than about performing for an audience.

**I wasn't whitelisted. Was I rejected?** Not being whitelisted is not a judgement against you. The overwhelming majority of Apollo's players are not whitelisted, and they are still valued members of the community. It is a recognition of something exceptional, not a pass mark everyone should expect to reach.

**Does buying from the store help?** No. Purchases, donations and supporter perks have no bearing on whitelist whatsoever. Whitelist cannot be bought.

**Does being a staff member or an Apollo Collective creator make me whitelisted?** No. These are separate things. Staff and creators go through the same process as everyone else.

**Does a past ban or warning disqualify me?** Not automatically. We look at what happened, how long ago it was, and how you responded to it. A single old mistake that you owned and moved on from is very different from a recurring pattern.

**Can whitelist be taken away?** Yes. It reflects ongoing standards, not a one-off assessment. Serious rule breaches or a sustained drop in the conduct that earned it can result in whitelist being removed.

**Can I appeal not being whitelisted?** There is nothing to appeal, because nothing has been decided against you. Keep roleplaying to the standard you want the server to have.

***

### The honest answer to "how do I get whitelisted?"

Stop working towards whitelist and start playing the character you actually want to play. Whitelist follows good roleplay. It has never once worked the other way around.

# Temporary Queue

> **Please read this before assuming this is "just another queue."**
>
> This queue is a **temporary, performance-only measure** to stop the server from crashing during connection spikes — like the crashes we've all been dealing with over the past few days. It is **not** a permanent part of the server, it is **not** a standard "always-on" queue like you'll see on other servers, and it is **not** here to push supporter sales or generate revenue.
>
> To make that stance clear: at this stage, **supporters&#x20;*****do not*****&#x20;skip the queue or move up in line.** The only exception is urgent staff connections where a staff member needs to get in to deal with an active issue. Everyone else waits the same amount of time, regardless of role. This is solely about keeping the server stable.

{% hint style="warning" %}
We are currently trialling this and will remove or reduce it as soon as we can.
{% endhint %}

### What is the queue?

The queue is a system that controls how many players are connecting to the server at the same time. If you join while the queue is active, you'll be placed in line and connected as soon as a slot opens up.

### When is the queue active?

The queue is **not** running all the time. It only kicks in when a large number of players are trying to connect at the same moment. In practice, this usually means:

* Just after a server restart, when everyone tries to rejoin at once.
* After a wave of crashes or timeouts, when a lot of players are reconnecting in a short window.

Outside of these spikes, you should be able to connect normally with no wait.

### Why do we need it?

When too many players try to connect simultaneously, the server has to handle a huge amount of work all at once: loading characters, syncing state, spawning resources, and so on. If that load gets too high, the server can become unstable or crash entirely — which is exactly what we've seen happen over the past few days.

By spacing connections out, the queue gives the server room to handle each player properly and keeps things stable for everyone who's already in.

### A note on queue times during the trial

While we're testing, queue times might feel longer than you'd expect. That's because we're actively balancing two things: how quickly we let people in, and how stable the server stays once they're in. If we let people in too fast, we're back to crashes; too slow, and the wait gets unreasonable.

We're tuning this in real time based on what we see, with the goal of bringing queue times down for everyone as quickly as possible. Thanks for bearing with us while we get the balance right.

### Priority and fairness

We want to be upfront about how priority works while this trial is running:

* **Supporters do not skip the queue.** Your role does not move you up the line.
* **Other community roles do not skip the queue** either.
* **The only exception** is urgent staff connections — where a staff member needs to connect to deal with an active in-game issue. This is an operational necessity, not a perk.

If that ever changes, we'll communicate it openly. We don't want anyone wondering whether this system was quietly built to sell perks. It wasn't.

### Our goals

We know waiting in a queue isn't fun, and we don't want it to become a normal part of playing on the server. Our goals are:

1. **Remove the need for a queue entirely** — we're working on the underlying performance issues so the server can handle connection spikes without help.
2. **Keep queue times as short as possible** while the queue is in place.
3. **Keep this measure temporary.** This is a stopgap to keep the server stable while we fix the root causes, not a permanent fixture.

We'll keep tuning things as the trial continues. If you run into issues or your queue time exceeds 10 minutes, please feel free to seek support via our [Discord support bot](https://discord.com/channels/953180997959168031/1010432824605671544).

# Crew Guidelines

## Crew Members

***

**Welcome to the Crew Scene!** These guidelines provide important information of what is expected from each member throughout their time in the crew scene. They are designed to help Crews maintain a strong reputation, uphold high-quality roleplay, and ensure all members act accordingly within the community. By following the guidelines, your Crew will be better informed and equipped to grow. ***Please read them thoroughly.*** **👥Crew Members and Image**

Crews are capped to a minimum of 4 members and a maximum of 7 members. If the Crew’s numbers drop below 4 members, they will be disbanded.

Crews are expected to maintain a high standard of roleplay; low-quality roleplay will not be tolerated. Your Crew’s image is a direct reflection of the actions of its leaders, members, and associates.

All members must be registered in the Crew’s Discord. Your Discord names must be set to the guideline standards.\
(Character Name | Steam/CFX Name)

As a Crew Leader, you are responsible for adding and removing your own members within the role-request channel. This includes giving them the Crew Role they are joining, as well as the “Crew” role.

### **⏳Cooldown**

Upon leaving any registered criminal organisation, a mandatory cooldown period of one week will be enforced before an individual is eligible to join any Crew, Faction, Gang or Organisation. This rule stands even if you are removed from the criminal organisation involuntarily.

Failure to follow the waiting period will result in immediate removal from the organisation and a *further 1-week waiting period* to be added. This is not inclusive of self imposed disbands unless staff have issued the disband.

***

### **⚖️Responsibility for Members**

Crews that select individuals to represent them bear responsibility for their actions. The conduct of your members directly reflects on your Crew’s reputation and image. The actions of your members can impact the progression of your Crew.

Crew leaders, members, and associates are expected to uphold all Apollo Networks Community Guidelines & Crew Guidelines at all times while in the server.

Players who are banned cannot be added to a Crew. They will need to wait until they are off their ban to join the Crew.

### **👑Crew Representatives**

If changing Crew Representatives, the new Crew Representative must be a registered member in the Crew for at least one week and have a minimum of 20 days playtime & no staff actions (including verbal warnings) in the past 30 days.

If a Crew Representative receives more than two staff actions within 30 days, they will be required to step down, and another Crew member must be appointed as the new representative. If there are no suitable candidates, the Crew will be disbanded.

***

**🔑Crew Properties & Rentals**

Crew leaders and members are responsible for who they grant access to Crew properties. Staff will not reimburse items stolen from Crew-owned houses.

Members are strongly advised not to store personal or valuable items in Crew properties and to instead use vehicles or lockers.

Keys should be reset regularly and always when purchasing a new property. *(Clean cash and keycards may be returned at staff discretion.)*

*Rentals:*

All crew rental payments are required to be made using **clean money** and are collected via IBAN transfer. Rent must be sent to IBAN: **ACTAXOFFICE** after the server restarts every Sunday, and the responsibility for completing this payment lies with your crew leaders.

Once the transfer has been made, screenshot proof of payment must be posted in your respective leader channels. Manual collections/placing rent in vehicles and houses are not accepted.

**🎭Roleplay Standards & Character Presentation**

All Crew members are expected to maintain high-quality roleplay, including appropriate character appearance and presentation.

* Gender changes require prior approval from the Administration team through a staff ticket and must be supported by meaningful roleplay. You’ll be expected to provide a detailed explanation of who the character is, why the change is happening, and how it fits into your roleplay.
* Gender swaps done without approval will be reversed and subject to staff action.
* Troll or unrealistic character appearances are not permitted and may result in staff action.

Your character reflects both your Crew and the wider community. Members are expected to uphold the server’s roleplay standards at all times.

## Hostilities

###

***

**Hostilities**

### Street conflict must follow proper escalation and roleplay standards. Random, pre-emptive, or undeclared hostility is not permitted. 📈**Escalation Requirements** Before any street conflict begins, **both crews are required to attend a non-hostile meeting** where demands are stated and an attempt is made to resolve the dispute through roleplay. If no agreement is reached and neither crew agrees to fold, the crews are considered hostile to each other once the meeting concludes. A **mandatory 30-minute cooldown** begins immediately after the meeting to allow both parties to prepare. No hostile actions may occur during this cooldown. 🚨**Active Street Conflict** Once the cooldown ends, crews are in active street conflict. *While in active street conflict:*

* ### Either crew may initiate hostile actions at any time if a member of the opposing crew is encountered.
* ### Hostile actions include **kidnapping, robbery, OR killing.**
* ### No further warnings, declarations, or meetings are required.
* ### Hostilities continue until one crew formally folds or the conflict is resolved through roleplay.
* ### There is **no such thing as “planned fights”** unless explicitly agreed upon during the non-hostile meeting.

### *Conflict Triggers & Limitations:*

* ### Conflict may only stem from in-character roleplay (e.g. disrespect, disputes, unmet demands).
* ### Event outcomes or losing an event cannot be used as justification for conflict.
* ### Words exchanged while dead do not count unless heard by a living character.
* ### Baiting reactions solely to start conflict is prohibited.

### *Evidence & Roleplay Standards:*

* ### Crews must be able to provide clips showing adequate roleplay leading up to and following the conflict.
* ### Clips must include **both in-game audio and microphone audio.**
* ### Low-quality roleplay will result in hostilities being voided immediately.

###

### *Declaration TimeFrame:*

If conflict is based on disrespect or an incident, escalation must occur within 10 days of the event.

***

### 👥**Participants**

Crews are allowed to have a maximum of 7 participants for hostilities. All 7 participants must be registered members of your Crew and not outside personnel. No one outside of the registered members are allowed to participate in conflict.

### 🚗**Vehicles**

Vehicle usage during hostilities and events must remain realistic and within roleplay standards. **Intentional ramming is strictly prohibited.**

*Helicopters:*

* Pitting or ramming using helicopters is strictly prohibited under all circumstances.
* Helicopter collisions are highly unrealistic, carry extreme fatal risk, and show disregard for character life.
* Any attempt to intentionally collide with or disable a helicopter using another helicopter will result in staff action.

*Ground Vehicle Pitting:*

* A **pit manoeuvre** is a controlled, deliberate action performed by one vehicle making brief contact with the side/rear of another vehicle to temporarily slow it down.
* **Ramming** is the intentional collision with another vehicle without attempting a proper PIT manoeuvre, including repeated collisions on the same vehicle.
* If you attempt a pit and make contact, you **must allow reasonable time to pass** before attempting another pit.

Repeated or excessive contact on a single vehicle will be considered ramming.

*Vehicle Restrictions:*

* **Sports cars and motorbikes may not be used for pitting.**
* **Off-road variants** of vehicles (e.g. off-road Lamborghinis, off-road R8s) **are permitted**, as they are not classified as standard sports cars.
* All bulletproof vehicles and vehicles with GTA-mounted weapons are banned from hostilities.

#### ---

#### ---

#### 📅**Events**

* During events, **all ramming, pitting, and vehicle contact is prohibited** unless explicitly stated otherwise by staff.

Any crew found engaging in helicopter ramming, excessive ramming, or improper vehicle use will face disciplinary action.

### 🎭**Conflict Outfits**

During any conflict, participants must wear identifiable clothing that signifies their Crew’s affiliation in their primary colour. This is non-negotiable. This includes whether you are dead. If you are driving around with the intention to do hostile actions against another group, you must be wearing your clothing preemptively.

### 🧨**Body Pickups & Intel**

Only registered Factions/Crews can participate in body pickups and gather intel for other Factions/Crews who are in conflict. Crews are **not permitted to outsource body pickups** to gangs or organisations.

**Hangarounds are not allowed to participate in body pickups or provide intel** under any circumstances. Only members who are formally plussed into a crew/faction via the role-request channel are authorised to conduct body pickups and share intel.

Body pickups must wear identifiable clothing, e.g. alien outfits, etc.

Body pickups cannot take conflict into their own hands or participate in the conflict. Body pickups must adhere to the fail fear rule and additionally not have any weapon on the person while doing pickups.

### 🪢**Kidnapping**

When conducting kidnapping you cannot hold an individual kidnapped for longer than 30 minutes.

You must articulate to the opposing Crew or Faction why you are kidnapping one of their members, and you must leave them in a position attainable by foot. You cannot kidnap the same person within an hour period.

### 🚓**Police Numbers**

Police numbers must be on LOW to initiate hostilities, if the police numbers drop below LOW, the current hostilities may continue until the scenario has ended.

If police numbers are on VERY LOW, only a maximum of 4 members on each side may participate in a shootout. The rest of the Faction/Crew members may act as body pickups or run intel for their Faction/Crew, they must be adhering to the Body Pickups & Intel Rule.

### ---

### 🚫**Outside Personnel**

Factions/Crews are not permitted to have players outside of their Faction/Crew participate in hostilities.

Gangs and Orgs may act as a middle ground to try and resolve the conflict but they cannot join in on the hostilities or act on behalf of the opposing Faction/Crew. **This includes bodypicking.**

### ⏱️**Death Timers**

During any Crew/Faction-related hostilities, a 15-minute cooldown is enacted once you respawn. This applies if you are revived by MAS, or FRV, taken to the hospital, or respawn. Keep in mind that you are not permitted to respawn in the middle of an active roleplay scene.

You can check how much longer you have left on your cooldown by doing /timer.

Timers do not safeguard you from being kidnapped or killed again; you should not be near the conflict whilst on timer. You can however be kidnapped/killed whilst on timer.

### 🔒**Weapon Safeguards**

There is no safeguard regarding any weapons in place. If you let someone borrow your gun during hostilities whether that be an event, on the street or war. If they do not return the firearm that is your in character responsibility to resolve. Staff will not assist you in this situation.

### ✋**Intervention**

Crew Management may intervene in conflict if they deem it necessary, this can be for a variety of reasons such as toxicity or lack of RP etc.

### 📋**Dodging Meetings**

If the declaring Crew or Faction is trying to make genuine attempts to create a meeting, but is being avoided to avoid a declaration purposefully (Discretion of Crew Management), the declaring Crew or Faction can instead attempt to kidnap members. This is at the approval of Crew Management, only in rare cases where there are no exterior factors.

### ---

### 🤝**Teaming**

There is to be no form of teaming within any form of fights, conflicts or events (shooting or not) between any Crew or Faction. Police are not included in this granted you have as a Crew or Faction a reason to fight police (Avoid Arrest, Save Members etc)

### 🪪**Whitelisted Players & Robbing**

Once all opposing members have been removed from play and you can clearly identify that the vehicle belongs to the opposing Crew/Faction, you will then be able to rob vehicles if applicable. However, you can rob health items at any time during conflict.

Whitelisted robberies are allowed during conflict. If you are robbing an opposing Crew/Faction member, you are required to roleplay out the scenario and not just handcuff and rob the member.

If you are robbing an opposing Crew/Faction member, you must adhere to the Community Guidelines & Crew Guidelines. Failure to have reasonable roleplay behind robbing them will fall under chain robbing.

If you are robbing an opposing Crew/Faction member, you cannot kill them.

Cuffing an opposing Crew/Faction member can remain and should only be done when it is safe to do so. The member may be alone or away from others and also be outnumbered. If the person is beanbagged, they are able to be cuffed but can’t be robbed mid shootout.

### ⚠️**Sanctions & Info**

The usage of firework launchers in conflict is strictly prohibited.

Flopping & emoting in the middle of conflict to avoid being shot is considered powergaming.

If you are found to be failing to fear for your character’s life during **any hostile or high-risk interaction**, whether with police, an opposing crew, or any non-affiliated individual, you will be subject to a 24-hour ban and may have items of value removed.

It is obvious to staff when someone crashes or disconnects from the server purposely during conflict to avoid losing their weapon or any other means. If you are to crash/disconnect, please create a ticket to alert staff. It is your responsibility to inform staff if you are experiencing difficulties with disconnecting, reconnecting or crashing within the server. If you crash/disconnect and do not make a ticket, the items of value that you had on your character will be removed, and you will be subject to a ban.

If a member of the same Crew/Faction is found to be shooting their fellow members to avoid being robbed or kidnapped, they will be actioned accordingly.

***

Do not roleplay with dead bodies. Once someone has been killed, you can either move their body and leave the area or leave the area. Do not hover around dead bodies and wait for police to arrive, or in any other circumstances. You can say your passing words, then move on.

###

***

**🔁Rejoining & Leaving Events**

If you timeout or disconnect during an event, you may rejoin by using **/enterevent** **101** upon reconnecting. The pilot will return you to the event island. You do not need assistance from the crew team in re-entering the bucket as long as you have interacted with the pilot once.

If you need to leave early or once the event has concluded, you may use **/leaveevent**, and the pilot will transport you back to the main bucket.

**🚔Safety & Police Interaction**

Players who are not yet in the event server but are preparing to attend an event are not considered safe from police interaction.

Any crimes committed while traveling to or preparing for an event may be acted upon by police as they see fit. We recommend that you **enter the bucket before grabbing any illegal weapons/items.**

Travel and preparation are done at your own risk, and players are expected to plan accordingly.

**⚠️Misuse & Enforcement**

Any misuse of the event system or mechanics will be taken seriously and may result in severe penalties, including but not limited to:

\- Removal from future events\
\- Crew strikes\
\- Temporary or permanent server bans.

### Players are expected to act responsibly at all times.

**Crew Tokens & Event Usage**

Crew and Faction members are expected to follow all event-related procedures and guidelines.

Crew Tokens **cannot be sold, traded, or transferred** between Crews or Factions.

Any Crew found attempting to misuse, sell, or transfer tokens will be permanently barred from receiving Crew Tokens.

## Sanctions

### ---

### **Sanctions**

The purpose of sanctions is to apply appropriate in-roleplay consequences that hold players accountable for their actions and to protect the quality of roleplay in the server. They ensure consequences are taken seriously while giving players a way to earn back trust through in-game effort.

### 🍄**Cards, Bans and Mushrooms** [*Apollo Networks | Mushroom Crafting*](https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1Q5h0wmTJVHR8r5OCnzmHPQZNVRAQC1LxZ-Zro6HzByQ/edit?usp=sharing)

If you receive a yellow card within the past 14 days, you will be prohibited from participating in all events. Similarly, if you receive a ban within the past 30 days, you will also be prohibited from participating.

To lift these restrictions, you must produce 300 final bags of Mushrooms for a yellow card, or 650 final bags of Mushrooms for ban.

If you have joined a Crew/Faction and have previously received a yellow card or ban before your event prohibition period has expired, you will need to complete Mushrooms.

Please note, that you are not permitted to receive **any assistance** in making the Mushrooms as part of your punishment. Once you have completed the required Mushrooms, inform Crew Management. You will place these in a vehicle and inform us of the plate.

### ⏳**Ban Periods**

Players must wait out any ban period before being officially accepted and acknowledged as a member of a Crew/Faction.

If an individual has returned off of either a 30+ Day Ban or a Permanent Ban, they must wait 30 days before being able to join any criminal organisation. If an individual was in an Crew/Faction prior, and remains in it during the duration of their ban, this does not apply. Mushrooms must be completed if they choose to partake in events/war within that 30 day period from being added into the Crew/Faction.

### 🛑**Disconnection During Roleplay/Conflict**

It is very obvious to us when someone purposefully disconnects or forces a game crash in order to avoid losing a weapon or avoiding consequences for your roleplay actions.

If you do crash or disconnect whilst dead or in active roleplay, You are required to make a ticket and inform staff that this has occurred.

You are responsible for letting us know as soon as possible if you are experiencing any difficulties with disconnecting, reconnecting or crashing within the server.

If you fail to do the above or are found to be intentionally disconnecting or crashing your game the items you had on your persons at the time will be wiped and you will be subject to a staff action.

### ⚠️**Fail Fear Consequences**

Fail Fear, As per Rule 13 found in the Community Guidelines

*”Value your character's life as you would your own. While portraying bravery is commendable, it should not venture into the realm of the unrealistic.”*

If you are found to be failing to fear for your character's life whilst in active conflict you will be subject to staff action. **This results in at minimum a 24 hour ban.**

**To further simplify this rule,**\
If a player aims a gun at you and you do not have a gun out, you cannot pull your gun out and shoot.

If you dismount out of a car and they are already aiming guns at you, you cannot pull your gun out and shoot.

If you are beanbagged or stunned and they are aiming guns at you, you cannot pull your gun out and shoot.

If a member of an Organisation, Gang, Faction, Crew or Police is actively aiming guns at you, you cannot pull your gun out and shoot.

***NON LETHAL FIREARMS SUCH AS BEANBAGS, PEPPERBALLS OR TASERS DO NOT REQUIRE YOU TO COMPLY.***

### **Crew and Faction Strikes**

Crews and Faction strikes aim to ensure accountability following the same set standards as individual members. They make Crews and Faction leaders accountable for their members and ensure they are doing right by not only their own Crews and Faction but the server as well.

Crews and Faction strikes occur when as a group through the action of its members breach server rules or cause significant issues within the server. Crews and Factions will typically be informed prior to a Crews and Faction strike being issued to adjust their actions, however based on severity or repeated offences it may be applied without warning.

Crews and Faction Strikes follow a simple 3 strike system.

**Strike One**

* A verbal warning will be issued to the whole Crew/Faction. We suggest you read over the Community Guidelines and the Crew/Faction Guidelines.

**Strike Two**

* The whole Crew/Faction will be banned from attending events for 2 weeks.

**Strike Three**

**A Crew/Faction Disbandment.**

Additionally if the Crew Team deem it necessary, your status as a Crew or Faction may be revoked or demoted at any given period. This remains at the direction and discretion of the Crew Team.

## Police Engagement

### ---

**Police Engagement**

As a Crew, you are held accountable to a higher standard, setting the benchmark on Police interactions and overall roleplay within the server.

PD wiping is a last resort, and not something we look at lightly. If engaging in hostilities with Police, there needs to be a proper form of interaction, declaration and a valid reason. PD wiping is a last resort.

You cannot join in on a PD wipe if you do not have any of your Crew/Faction members in custody.

During hostilities or potential hostilities with Police, a declaration must be made within one minute of actively shooting. This means you must make it extremely clear to Police that if your circumstances or demands are not met, you will actively turn the scene hostile.

When conducting hostile roleplay with police, a 15-minute cooldown is enacted once you respawn, if you are killed. This applies if you are revived by AV, or FRV, taken to the hospital, or respawn. Keep in mind that you are not permitted to respawn in the middle of an active roleplay scene.

If your Crew/Faction is in direct conflict with Police and solely Police, you are permitted to exceed the conflict limitation of 10 participants or 7 for Crews, exclusive to official members of your Crew/Faction.

During police hostilities, you are not required to wear your clothing or conflict outfit.

⚠️**Fail Fear Against Police**

Under no circumstances should individuals run into active Police scenes to carry individuals out, or to "rescue" your friend. This is classed as fail fear during police hostilities.

📝**Reporting Police**

If a Police officer breaks the rules in any way shape or form it is not your organisation or gangs responsibility to act on this rulebreak in any way within RP. You must practice “Silent Reporting” and create a ticket. If you believe there is an issue with the Police you are also able to submit an IBAC ticket through a support ticket in the Apollo Networks Discord.

🔥**Hostilities against Police**

During Hostilities with Police, you must still follow your 15 minute death timer. This is regardless of if you were killed by Police, Crew/Faction or any other way. Police must follow this also, You should not be involved in any way at all whilst on your timer. You can utilise /timer to verify this.

You are not allowed to use explosives towards police at active medical triages. If you are in an active fight with police you are still able to utilise explosives in any situation besides when they are at a triage, Additionally if police are utilising a police station for mass causality scenes you are able to forward this to IBAC.

## Discords & Player Reports

Faction/Crew discords are not allowed to have permanently banned members from Apollo Networks.

All Faction/Crew discords must follow the Apollo Networks Community Guidelines.

### 📣**Reporting of Another Crew or Faction**

Provide a detailed account of your concerns, accompanied by any supporting evidence, via the Apollo Networks Discord Support Ticket for the Crew Management’s review.

## Disbandment of Crews

### ---

### **Disbandment of Crews**

🛑**Disbands**

If the Crew Management and Crew Assistants deem it needed, your Crew status can be revoked and force disbanded at any moment. This remains at the discretion of Crew Management, Crew Assistants, and the Apollo Staff Team. **This is not negotiable.**

As a Crew, you are expected to remain active, you will be warned once about inactivity. Any more inactivity will result in your Crew being disbanded.\
Force disbands will result in a 1 week waiting period before you can join another Crew or a 2 week waiting period if you want to start another crew.

If your Crew is voluntarily disbanded, there is no 1 week waiting period before you can join another Crew, Faction, Gang or Organisation. However, there is a 1 week waiting period before a brand new crew can be formed.

If your Crew receives a total of 3 strikes, your Faction will be forced to disband with a 1-week waiting period.
