# How to Fix Lost Characters

This guide will walk you through relinking your Rockstar account

Your characters are linked to your Rockstar account NOT your Steam account.

## Part One

1. Open the 'Rockstar Game Launcher'\
   *Note: you can download this here:* [*https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/rockstar-games-launcher*](https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/rockstar-games-launcher)
2. Sign into the Social Club with your same Rockstar account\

## Part Two

1. Press WINDOWS KEY + R
2. Type in **%localappdata%**
3. Delete the folder called 'DigitalEntitlements'
4. Open FiveM
5. Sign in with the correct Rockstar account
