# How to Clear FiveM Cache

* You **will** experience a temporary performance drop after you've cleared the cache while all the resources and assets download again.

Clearing the FiveM cache can help resolve a variety of issues that players might encounter. The cache stores temporary data that FiveM uses to run efficiently, but sometimes this data can become corrupted or outdated, leading to problems.\

1. Right click on the FiveM application\

3. Select **FiveM Application Data**\
